At The Lodge, we believe our staff are our most valuable asset and their development, participation and motivation are critical to our success. Our approach to staff development is ambitious and comprehensive.
There are four key principles that will ensure the continuation of our reputation:

- investing in quality training for all staff
- rewarding staff well for commitment and qualification
- keeping practices and new developments in the care of the elderly under constant review
Training is provided for all staff at every level with an extensive programme of internal and external training sessions and seminars. The core of our training is the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) level 1, 2 and 3.
You are to ensure continuity of care to residents is promoted across all levels and ensure that the highest standard of care in delivered to all service users to ensure the highest quality of life is given to all residents.
