The home is owned by Zoe and Miles Hutchins of Bliss Family Care Limited, who both work very closely with the Manager and The Lodge team to ensure that standards are met and continuously raised.
The Lodge Residential Home offers 24 hour care for up to 32 older people which has a motivated qualified team of staff providing person centred care to the highest of standards. We have designed and furnished The Lodge in order to make it feel non-institutional and homely together with being well managed, organised, equipped and maintained to the highest standard.

To provide consistently high standards of care to each resident within beautiful surroundings where you will be treated with dignity and your individuality, independence, privacy and choice are maintained and upheld.
How we achieve this and continue to achieve this
Our personally designed care system is delivered by qualified, dedicated staff and management with an overview from the Directors of Bliss Family Care Ltd. We strive to maintain a homely setting and a 5-star hotel finish.
Qualified and Professional Staff
We understand that high quality care is best achieved with good, reliable and knowledgeable staff. All our staff are employed through our strict recruitment procedure and they provide a high standard of individual care by having on-going training, supervision and development. Our care staff are either qualified or working towards a minimum of NVQ level two. A care manager is on duty seven days a week to supervise our team and one manager is dedicated to regular performance reviews and evaluation. We maintain high levels of staffing all day, every day through our dedicated care team.
